A wide path leads up to the second half of the site, which is made up of 5 acres of woodland, within the woodland there is a large clearing also suitable for patrol or troop camping, centred around the log cabin.Ĭherrywood campsite is available for use by all youth sections within the Scout and Guide movements and to organised groups and other youth organisations.Ĭherrywood campsite is not a commercial campsite. At the top of the meadow camping field is a modern toilet and shower block, with separate male and female facilities along with accessible facilities.
Half of Cherrywood is made up of open meadow for camping, along with campfire circle and the river Mardyke running along the bottom of the site.Ī large car park runs along the West side of the site with direct access to the main gate on Arterial Road.

Featuring a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and access to the outdoor patio and private garden this room is the perfect place to chill out and socialise.
